Oceanside offers over 3.5 miles of white sandy beaches and is perfect for sunbathing, surfing, surf-fishing or just strolling. The 260 slip Harbor is a popular spot for sport-fishing, boating and whale watching and offers services for boat, kayak and Jet Ski rentals. Take a drive around the shoreline of the port, and enjoy the coastal views of the boats and marina. Stop and explore Harbor Village which offers food, shopping and a lighthouse. Plenty of parking is available. Over 6 miles of beachfront roadway are perfect for jogging, rollerblading or biking along the coast. The historic Oceanside Pier is 1972 feet in length and is the longest wooden pier on the Western coastline. From here, you can view the entrance channel of Oceanside Harbor, or try your hand at fishing off the side (no license required).
